Education
Art has always been a focal point in my life, I was raised in a family of artists. My mother, a current gallery artist and grandmother a member of the Philadelphia Watercolorist Society are both accomplished painters. Most of my early art training was because of them. I started working in 3D in high school when I discovered an ancient copy of Bryce on one of my school's computer. After after realizing that I had a passion for 3D, having won several art shows with the the results of my 'playing' in Bryce, my art teacher suggested that I go to school for 3D and recommended Full Sail. I spent 3 years at Full Sail learning every skill I could and earning my Bachelors of Science in Computer Animation.
Professional Career
After an internship with the Full Sail Preproduction Department, I decided to test my hand in the waters of real 'work'. From there I jumped into a simulation position with Harris Corporation using proprietary 3D programs and Photoshop. After a year at Harris Corporation, I decided that I had had enough of dodging hurricanes and alligators and decided to move north! In Fall of 2008 I moved to Wisconsin and started an internship working remotely at Last Straw Productions.
I now work for Raven Software as a Modeling and Environmental Artist, a position I've held since May 2010. I started with the company as a quality assurance person, where I tested Singleplayer and Multiplayer for Raven's game "Singularity". When testing was over, Raven hired me to work on the Call of Duty: Black Ops project. I'm currently working on modeling, texturing, and environmental art for a AAA title.
